I started personal training while attending Indiana University and eventually graduated with my bachelor’s degree in social and behavioral sciences. I started my career path at LA fitness where I gained a grasp of personal training but knew I wanted to do much more in the fitness industry! I then moved on to hold a fitness coordinator position while working at a corporate office on the northside of Indianapolis. I began teaching group training as a health coach, coordinating fitness challenges, and helping manage wellness programs. I then developed a program using my methodologies to fully encompass all aspects of health and wellness. I was promoted to a full-time wellness coordinator overseeing various parts of employee health initiatives. In this position, I learned to take a health coach approach to wellness as I advised employees of the organization on how to accomplish their personal goals. Focusing on nutrition, exercise, and physical well-being is the main them to being a wellness consultant. I am passionate about providing exercise guidance coupled with nutritional guidance to provide healthier lifestyle choices for everyone.
